Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Day-to-day duties: • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
