Now hiring: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Monroe County, Wisconsin. On the job you will handle: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
