Fabricator-welder — Chippewa County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Chippewa County, Minnesota. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
