System formwork carpenter — Hyde County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Hyde County, North Carolina. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. You will box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters. Requirements: • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules • Able to read formwork and structural drawings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
