Now hiring: we are hiring an advanced scaffolder in Butler County, Iowa. The job is on an industrial refinery shutdown. Day-to-day duties: • Hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts Requirements: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Able to read basic scaffold drawings 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
