Carpenter — Oxford County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a carpenter in Oxford County, Maine. You will assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. You should have: • Own basic hand tools • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends.
