Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in City and Borough of Birmingham, England. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings On the job you will handle: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
