Brick mason — Pickens County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick mason in Pickens County, Alabama. You will work on a commercial construction site. On a typical shift you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Full-time with occasional weekends.
