Immediate opening: lawn care technician (Texas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lawn care technician in San Patricio County, Texas. You will be based on a golf course. On a typical shift you will operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads. You should have: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
