Now hiring: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Santa Cruz County, California. You will work on a quarry floor. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels The role involves strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; refuel the machine and record running hours; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank.
