Great opportunity: cold store insulation technician (Maryland)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. You will work at a busy building site. Ideal candidate: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing The role involves: • Wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape Full-time, day shift.
