Immediate opening: concrete labourer (Arkansas)

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete labourer in Saline County, Arkansas. The job is in a residential housing project. On the job you will handle: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet Overtime paid at a premium rate.
