Requirements: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards The role involves: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways 3+ years on the tools preferred.
