We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. Day to day you will connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings 5+ years on the tools preferred. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
