Steam press operator — Taliaferro County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steam press operator in Taliaferro County, Georgia. You will be based in a garment export house. The role involves keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; give each garment a final press before packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Full-time with occasional weekends.
