Brick and block layer wanted in Bolivar County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Bolivar County, Mississippi. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) You will bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
