Rigger — Weld County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rigger in Weld County, Colorado. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
