Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Claiborne County, Mississippi. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals On a typical shift you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift.
