Fabrication workshop technician • Red Willow County, Nebraska

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Red Willow County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square What we are looking for: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. $190 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
