Sample machinist — Monona County

What we are looking for: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On the job you will handle: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers 4+ years on the tools preferred.
