Commercial refrigeration engineer — Lucas County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Lucas County, Iowa. You will work in an AC and refrigeration showroom. You should have: • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns On the job you will handle: • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Clean condenser and evaporator coils At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
