Immediate opening: we are hiring a mason's helper in Perry County, Ohio. Day-to-day duties: • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction Requirements: • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Full-time with occasional weekends.
