Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Charles County, Maryland. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
