Electrical technician wanted in Appomattox County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an electrical technician in Appomattox County, Virginia. The job is in a power distribution substation. Day to day you will dress and terminate wiring inside control panels; fault-find on motor starters and star-delta panels; check earth continuity and earth pit resistance; test insulation resistance with a megger; size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop. You should have: • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use • Sound knowledge of IS wiring and earthing standards • 2+ years hands-on wiring and maintenance experience Six days a week, one day off.
