Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Webster County, Georgia. The job is in a gas distribution network. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Day-to-day duties: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints Full-time with occasional weekends.
