Offshore rigger wanted in Fentress County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Fentress County, Tennessee. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. Day to day you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; read lift plans and method statements before starting; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 4+ years on the tools preferred. $120 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
