Urgent requirement: precision welder (Tennessee)

Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Blount County, Tennessee. On a typical shift you will read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
