Argon arc welder wanted in Saline County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Saline County, Nebraska. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On the job you will handle: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 6+ years on the tools preferred.
