Trowel-trade bricklayer — Jos East

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Jos East, Plateau State. Your main tasks: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
