Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator (dozer) in Crawford County, Georgia. The job is on a road construction project. Requirements: • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Day to day you will clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; refuel the machine and record running hours. At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
