Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Jasper County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work On a typical shift you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing.
