Great opportunity: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Macon County, North Carolina. You should have: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Day to day you will backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
