Vacancy available: we are hiring a laundry presser in Bradford County, Florida. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Your main tasks: • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Give each garment a final press before packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
