Domestic gas engineer wanted in Nottinghamshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Nottinghamshire, England. You will work on commercial and industrial sites. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches Day-to-day duties: • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. £1,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
