We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Chatham County, Georgia. The role involves: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
