Tailor machinist — Baker County

Join our team: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Baker County, Oregon. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line The role involves: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
