Control panel electrician • Midlothian, Scotland

Great opportunity: we are hiring a control panel electrician in Midlothian, Scotland. The job is in a factory maintenance department. On the job you will handle: • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams • Wire single-phase and three-phase distribution boards • Crimp lugs and terminate armoured cable glands • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter • Install and connect MCBs, RCBOs and isolators in the DB What we are looking for: • Normal colour vision for cable identification • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds £2,150 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
