Delivery truck driver • Armstrong County, Texas

Immediate opening: we are hiring a delivery truck driver in Armstrong County, Texas. The job is at a haulage company. Ideal candidate: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Valid digital tachograph card Day-to-day duties: • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
