Blocklayer wanted in Cowlitz County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a blocklayer in Cowlitz County, Washington. You will be based on a commercial construction site. The role involves: • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets 6+ years on the tools preferred.
