Abattoir worker — Calhoun County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Calhoun County, Iowa. You will work at a busy retail butcher's shop. On a typical shift you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. You should have: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
