Immediate opening: aluminium TIG welder (Texas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Ward County, Texas. You will be based on a structural steel site. Day to day you will sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Rotating shifts.
