Aluminium TIG welder — Wayne County

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Wayne County, Iowa. You will read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
