Fabricator-welder — Grafton County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Grafton County, New Hampshire. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Day to day you will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required.
