Argon welder wanted in Kaltungo

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Kaltungo, Gombe State. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
