Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heat pump commissioning engineer in Beaufort County, South Carolina. Requirements: • Own set of refrigerant tools: gauges, vacuum pump, scales • Willing to travel to domestic and small commercial sites • F-Gas Category 1 certification or equivalent refrigerant handling cert Day to day you will survey the property and calculate heat loss room by room; braze copper refrigerant lines using oxy-acetylene or nitrogen purge; hand over the system to the customer and explain the controls; mount the outdoor unit on anti-vibration brackets on a solid base; size and select the heat pump unit and buffer tank. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
