Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Sargent County, North Dakota. The role involves: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 1+ years on the tools preferred.
