Aluminium TIG welder — Branch County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Branch County, Michigan. You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
