Structural MIG welder wanted in Lincoln County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Lincoln County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
