Great opportunity: we are hiring a production welder in West Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances On a typical shift you will read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
