Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Give each garment a final press before packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
